It was midnight of November 23rd we headed to Grossmont Hospital to get induced. We got there checked in, filled out papers, got our wristbands and headed to our room. The nurse came in checked me and i was only dilated 1cm and effaced 40%. So they started me on a pill that was put in that would thin out my cervix. Well i thought my Dr said they were going to start me with pitocin and an epidural...but whatever i just went along with what they said they were going to do. Every 2 hours the nurse came into check me and not much was going on. So around 9:45 am my dr got to the hospital and i was only dilated to about a 2...yeah so 9 HOURS not much went on so she broke my water, started pitocin and i got the epidural. So 2 hours went by i was then 4cm and about 60% effaced...yeahhh progress!! The contractions were gettting stronger i knew progress was going to happen quicker. Every 2 hours from then on i was checked little by little progression.

Well around 7 or so I knew something was way different because i felt A TON of pressure and alot of stuff came out...so the nurse checked me after only about a half hour from the time before. HOLY CRAP I was at a 9 and 100 effaced and they were ready for me to start pushing and the Dr was being called. I started shaking and tears just poured down my face...nervous, excited, not sure, etc ha ha I pushed for about 15 min, then Dr finally showed up, continued to push and she was out within 45min of pushing.

She was 7lbs 10oz......19.5inches long

What an amazing feeling it is to have a child of my own.

I have to say there is no way i could have done it without my parents and Noah being there right by my side the whole time.

Noah is the best daddy and husband in the world. Once i started pushing, the love and comfort i felt from Noah was a feeling i honestly have never felt before. I truly felt like i fell in love with him again. There was just something about his encouraging words, his tone in his voice, his excitement, his expressions, etc I am just so blessed to have him as my husband and now the father of our precious daughter.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

I cant believe 40 weeks has gone by this fast...

I have MY LAST appt on Tuesday and cant wait to see how everything is going inside. (Hopefully more progression then last time)

Then the following Tuesday the 23rd if no baby yet...she will be forced out!!!

We will be delivering in Grossmont Hospital for anyone that wants to visit when she arrives

Just a FYI: we will be in Utah for about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks in December (prob like the 16th-30th ) enjoying the cabin...so if you would like to visit you know where we will be.

Yup...just waiting and waiting!!! This little princess has 13 days to show up on her own&if not...we are inducing on the 23rd. I will not go a day after...and my Dr is ok with it!!!

oh you ask what have i been doing since i havent been working!?!?! Ive made a MILLION bows/flowers/hats for Elle....Pic below are a few bows/hats that I made for my nieces Ms Addie and Ms Lydia. Elle needs to start sharing...mommy has gone overboard. She has probably just about 100...ha ha ha

Here I am just 3 days shy of 35 weeks!!!

I LOVE the fact that I am carrying my little princess...but its almost over and i CANT WAIT to get my belly back. Girls say oh its not the same or blah blah blah....oh no....THIS ALLIE IS GETTING HER BELLY BACK if it takes working out 4 times a day.

Ive heard so much stuff throughout my pregnancy from other pregnant girls, and I have to say I was SUPER sick the first couple months and it was HELL*excuse my language but really* but i would take that and have this smooth last 6 months....I havent had ANY complication....NO "i cant im prego moments"...NO breakdowns...No crazy hormones...No weird cravings. Really im just me...i dont feel any different except now a baby is moving&kicking me inside all the time ha ha. I may get a little more tired at night. But like yesterday,

I got up at 6am....not sleeping more then 5 hours...

Drove to OC...Got there at 8am.

Picked up some friends...

Drove another hour to LA...was tailgating until noon.

Walked prob about a mile....Drove 2 hours back home.

Went to bed at 9pm. Yes of course i was tired, but did i complain one time?!? nope. Did i have a blast?!? yes.

So long story short I am so thankful how this pregnancy has turned out BUT BUT BUT im so ready to meet her and get my body back!! Sorry i may sound a little selfish, but hey ive carried this baby 9 months so i can be ha ha ha

We were invited by Noahs best friend Brian to go to the USC game against Washington...it was a LONG day but so worth it.

We drove up early on saturday..tailgated for hours before the game...then drove home after the game. They lost which was a bummer...but the whole SC football game is an experience that everyone should experience.

I wish San Diego State had game days like SC does...we would go to EVERY game!!!

Brian &Lindsey...He has been Noahs best friend since they were little!!!

The biggest tailgate party on campus....SOOO FUN!!! We were there for 4 hours before the game.

What a fun day!!! But yes it was a LONG day!!!!

Woke up in the morning so excited to celebrate Elles party , kind of nervous when I found out it was going to be the hottest day of the year...113 in El cajon...thinking "Holy Moly im gonna die"

I head to work(Yes it was on a Monday..long story..but its ok it worked out great), it was already 85 at 8am.

2pm came, got off work started getting stuff together....Dying of heat but trying to stay positve...its 110..

Got to Cammis house around 3pm...113degrees..*sigh*..THANK GOODNESS FOR CAMMI'S AIRCONDITIONING

Helped get last minute things together and the party started at 6pm...only about 95 outside.

Noah and I took 4 days off and went out to Palm Springs for the weekend. IT WAS AWESOME!!! It was as hot as 110 all day everyday, and at night never got cooler then 95. We spent the whole time relaxing and enjoying eachother.

I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband that loves and cares about me so much. I cant wait to bring our daughter into this world in November..Noah is going to be the best daddy in the world!!! I couldnt imagine being preggo without him...even with my body changing and all the fun stuff that comes along with pregnancy, he reminds me DAILY of how perfect I am (even though i know im not) and never stops with the compliments!! I am so blessed to have found Noah and get to spend the rest of my life with him.

Anyoo, i flew up to Utah to see my Grandma Walker that isnt doing to well. While I was there(noah had to stay home and work boo) I got to spend alot of time with her and it was such a good visit!!! It was also nice because I got to see alot of fam which was awesome!!

Right after the nurse found out what it was(didnt tell us)..she said "ill be right back." Then walked in with the bag that said "its a girl". Grammi is sneaky and got there early..made a little plan with the nurse&gave them a bag for both a boy or girl...it was so cute!!! Not going to lie it was a BIG shock because deep down I thought/wanted a boy...

ANYHOO we are EXCITED and cant wait for this little princess to join our family!!! Her middle name is spoiled already

After the last few weeks spending over 15 hours at 3 different dealerships...we found our PERFECT car. We sold Noahs 03 Ford Ranger to Carmax and got a fat check....it was ALOT more then we thought...We recommend Carmax to everyone!!!!! You dont even have to buy a car from them...awesome deal

The last few months everything has fallen into place and we are SO incredibly blessed. Only 4 more months and lil bean will be here.

Everything is going great right now....no complaints

Still working 40 hrs a week...this last week i worked 46(i was a little tired after two eleven hour days)

We find out what Lil Bean is this next tuesday..JULY 6th, we cant wait!!!

Always have a weird taste in my mouth that wont go away...gum is a MUST if im not eating!!! cant wait for this part to go away

Noah is doing fabulous..loving his job..being such a good help...makes my lunch and dinner everyday. Yup im bragging because I have the best husband in the whole wide world!!!

ANDD its 2:16am...maybe i should try to go back to bed!!!

Hope everyone has a FANTASTIC 4th of July weekend...we will be buying a new car, hanging out in OC with the fam, BBQing, and goin to the fair. YEAH FOR 3 DAY WEEKENDS!!!!

This Fathers Day was special to me because it was Noahs first..people go back and forth(he even will) with this because the baby is still in my tummy, but trust me....He has already been the best daddy the last 4 1/2 months. This little angel is so lucky to have Noah as his/hers daddy!!!

We celebrated Fathers Day with my parents...Golfing followed by Dinner at my cousins house.

I Love my daddy so much and cant express how much he means to me!!! Happy Fathers Day Daddy!!! I love you so much and appreciate ALL you do for Noah and Me :)

Momma Update

I am now 17 weeks along...

This last week i started feeling sick again...

Puking/fainting no fun....sunday went for a little hike, then grocery shoppin..while waiting in line my eyes started seeing stars so i tried to walk outside to sit down..well i didnt make it-i ended up in front of everyone on the floor. Got some water..rested then walked home. A few more puking sessions came after. It was pretty hot&didnt drink enough water...i cant handle heat!!!!

Cravings- Dill pickles, mexican candy, and FRUIT!!!!

Baby is Growing and so is Momma-Ive gained a total of 7 LBS so far..well first 2 months i gained about 12LBS then lost 5. (due to the only thing that made me feel better was soda&carbs) But now no soda, only water...lots of veggies and fruit too!!!

No belly yet. I had Noah take pictures of my belly, but the pics look funny because i just have a little pooch, no belly bump yet. As soon as i have a baby bump...pictures will be posted!!!

3 weeks and we find out the sex!!! MOMMA AND DADDY CANT WAIT!!! Also we will be half way done...i still cant believe it. I feel like it was just yesterday we found out we were having a little one join our family!!!

The Shaws Visit to San Diego

The Shaw family had a short trip to San Diego so Suzannie could run the Rock n Rock half marathon....the 2 days they were here went by WAY to fast.

We are so proud of you sister...i had tears when i saw you running....you put your mind to it for 4 months and DID IT in 2 hours 20min....that is AMAZING!!! Someone that HATED running ha ha ha WOOOHOOOOO

Noahs best friend Brian gave us his 4 tickets to the USC practice game...Noah thought he died&went to heaven. Between not getting out of the house for a few months (due to me being out of commission sicky due to the baby) and FINALLY getting to take me to his FAVORITE place on earth..USC, he was seriously like a little kid at Disneyland. Our friends Brette and Chris(who actually graduated from USC)went with us...We had a great time!!!

I know I know....its been over a month since I have posted. Feb went by so fast!!!! We are both still doing the same ol same ol. Noah birthday is coming up March 29th, so we are going to Palm Springs next weekend. THANK GOODNESS!!! A mini vaca is much needed. Anyhoo, we went to Roadrunner Sports today and GOT THE BEST DEAL EVER!!!! We had no idea there was a big sale out front.. "all shoes on rack $30" then if u have VIP they are $25 WHAT?!?! Long story short, since i have been running alot lately ive been wearing the same pair(for the last year...not good)...my knees are really startin to bug me, so we decided it was time to spend the extra couple hundred to get a few pair of good shoes AND it will save my body. Not expecting a sale, then getting there to the BIGGEST sale ever...AMAZING!!!!

I cant believe it...this is the first year in a long time i wanted to go all out for my birthday!!! I had the best birthday weekend ever :) It started out saturday day goin to Mimis with one of my bestest friends cammi. Then Saturday night, Noah and I had dinner with my parents and opened a new camera(means more posts) with some fun gift cards and money. Then Sunday about 25 of us went to a place by our house and had brunch. Just a great time with all our friends..couldnt have done it any other way. Pictures are on there way, just not ready yet!!! Thank you to everyone that made my 25th birthday an amazing birthday!!!

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE this time of year!!!!

For Thanksgiving this year we got to spend time with boy Noahs parents and My parents. We are so Thankful for Family. We started off at Mission Bay with the motor home and all the toys, Wave runners, kayak, bikes, kites, etc oh and LOTS of yummy food.

Some friends from Montana & Utah came down to visit.

We did the 5k Mud Run...OH MY HECK what a blast. It was 3 miles of obsticles, mud, hurdles, a huge (straight up)hill, mud pits, barrels, etc. The first mud pit we approached noah of course pushed me under, ALL THE WAY UNDER. After that there was no holding back.

CATTLE CALL WAS ANOTHER SUCCESS!!!
Every year my family(whoever is in town) goes to Cattle Call Rodeo in Brawley, Ca and camps for the weekend. It was Noahs first time to a RODEO...can you believe this?!?! He had a blast...

I KNOW IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME...SORRRRYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

I no longer work at Torrey Pines. Its been over 3 years and they finally let me go. I am actually really excited about it, because i have wanted to go back to school for dental assisting and I can FINALLY do it.

Noah got a new job with a Loan/credit card consolidation company...its perfect for him and Me right now. He loves it!! His office is across the street from the beach. No joke u walk out of his office and its sand and ocean across the street. LUCKY DUCK!!!!

Noah is still doing his Masters program. He has straight A's and is doing awesome!!

This next week is my bridal shower...and I am super excited all my sisters are coming with there kids: AND i get to see lots of friends that i havent seen in awhile YIPPIEEE!!!!)

Everyone is Happy and Healthy and thats all we could ask for:)

So lately I have thinking alot about family and how important is is to love one another and cherish every moment u have together. I am so lucky to have a family that is so envolved with noah and my life to keep us going and being so positive in everything we do. It has been a battle with finishing school...finding a job...going BACK to school -but we will do it with a smile and be thankful for FAMILY and there support. Sometimes i wonder what it would be like to live far from my parents...(since i have never lived further then 10min from them) but then it makes me sad. never gonna happen:) I just love my parents and all they do for Noah and I. We are so lucky to be so close to them and have the relationship we have. One day "when" we have kids:) it will be so fun to have them so close to there "La La" and "papa"..already set up there names ha ha ha. Anyhoo....

They stole my purse( i know stupid to leave it in my car but i didn't have enough arms to carry it in with my laundry that night) my camera and my wallet. i hate people that steal!!!! Noah and I drove out to .....

to spend 4 days with my brothers fam and to get away. We scored on 4 nights for $180 at this place..

oh but wait my brother got us a $30 off coupon...oh but wait if we sat through a 90min walk through tour for the timeshare we got $100 off(and we did). So yes folks we stayed in an AWESOME room in vegas for 4 night for (drum roll please)

Noahs best friend Brian came down with his girlfriend..we decided it was a great idea to WALK downtown to the padre game. Mind you yes it is about a 3.5 mile walk. Well i wasnt wearing the best shoes and i have the worst blister on the pinky toe. i will save everyones stomach because it it NASTY!! Anyhoo it was a great night and we really enjoy Brians company!!!

When we got down to the stadium..tickets were sold out. WHAT?!?! on the way down we were telling them "padres stink they never sell out we will be fine"..oopsie. So we decided to watch it from the top of the marriot. Hey we saved money and it was PERFECT!!!

4th of July weekend

I cant believe its already monday and this weekend has come and gone. We didnt do anything too exciting but still a nice weekend. I had to work on the 4th all day until about 7:30. Then i came home hurry and got ready and headed downtown where we watched an awesome show. Then Sunday came we woke up and went on a 6 mile hike through balboa park which was such a blast. We then walked home and headed to my parents pool. Now im a LOBSTER ..booo. But it is totally worth the fun we had. I dont have any pictures from this weekend which is a HUGE suprise because im obsessed with pictures. bummer dude!!!

I hope everyone else enjoyed there 4th. We are all so lucky to live in the country we live and have the freedom we do. I forgot all the time how lucky we are to live the life we do.

RUNNING A HALF MARATHON!!!!

I never thought i would actually sign up and run in a race. Im really not a big runner, but i decided this is something that i have to train for, it will get me in better shape AND i paid 75 to run in the race so i cant back down. So yup, Allie is running 13.1 miles on August 16.

I was talking to my brother yesterday about it, and he said "why would you pay to run in a race. You can just pay me 40 and ill drive next to you, play music, and have water for you." We were laughing so hard. I know its silly but there is something about racing with thousands of people just sounds like so much fun. I just cant wait for the race!!!! Wish me luck...im off for a run as we speak

Yes Folks...we made another trip to Disneyland. This trip included Grammi, Chris and Kristin with kids, Russ and D with kids and the one and only Aunt Sparkly:)
It was such a good time...we got there around 1030 and closed down the park. Alot of pics were taken so sit back, relax and enjoy.......

As you all know(maybe, maybe not) we have been living with my parents since noah got back... WELLLL Noah and I found a new place over by Balboa park(our fave spot)that we will be ALL moved into this weekend.

Noah landed an AMAZING job and absolutely LOVES it. He is now an investigater with an insurance fraud company.

I landed a new job (still working at torrey pines) with 24 hour gym 2 blocks from our new place, working 3 days a week. PS...FREE MEMBERSHIP for noah and me

We are both so excited....we have visitors the next 3 weeks!!Suzanne this weekend...Russ and D next weekend...then Chris and kristin in 2 weeks:) We love you guys and CANT WAIT to see everyone!!!

I havent been able to blog for awhile...our computer has been sick. It is all better now so i can finally blog about our weekend in Palm Springs. It was such a relaxing weekend!!!! We stayed at the marriot and LOVED IT. We layed by the pool, worked out, went to dinner/lunch, went golfing, etc.

Here are my new (i know very fashionable) cycling shoes. I am so excited!!! I love my spin class and this will just make it more of a workout:) For those of you who have never done spin...you should start. The BEST hour workout you will EVER have.

My workout schedule: start my mornings at the gym mon-Fri at 5am get my pass for spin that starts at 6am. Do weights for an hour and go to my spin class for an hour. I feel AMAZING!!!!

Noah and I are having a blast taking care of little Addie and Payton. They are fun little kids:) Oh and by the way... Noah did make it back from South Carolina on Friday. The Army flew him to Utah because i was already here when he got released. Enough about the Army-we are done with it and HES HOME!!!! Back to the kids. They are so stinkin cute. We just got done with bathtime/breakfast and getting ready for the day. In a little bit we are off to hit golfballs at the park. Started taking pictures so those will be up soon. Its beauiful out a little chilly but i love it!!! Have a great Day...

A Saturday drive

My parents and i went out past Julian to the desert(Borrego Springs area) to check out desert flowers. Pretty cool, not something i thought i would ever do but really enjoyed it and once i got there it was crazy to see all the flowers that are in the desert. On the way there we stopped at Dudleys in Julian (the best bread place EVER) and got like 5 different kinds of bread. YUMMY!!!!

It was a perfect day for the drive..the windy roads didnt go well with my car sickness but its ok i made it.

Ps-Noah should be calling me tomorrow with his flight info(CROSSING MY FINGERS) So hopefully he will be home wed, or thur, or maybe even friday. Who knows?!?! Wish us luck!!!!

Payton's Visit

It was totally spur of the moment; A friend was flying down from Salt Lake City and called and asked my mom if she wanted her to bring anything....well my mom said "my grandson". So the magic happened and little Payton flew down with Lindsey and had a fun filled weekend with Papa, Baummi, Aunt Sparky(me...he cant say sparkly yet), and you cant forget his favorite "jackson the puppy". He is such an fun/active little guy!!!!!

He LOVES "Jackson the puppy"...he would get so frusturated if jackson wasnt following or wanted to do what payton wanted him to do. He was so sweet with him. I love this picture of him laying next to him.

Baummi took him out to see Starfish. Lucky little guy...it was FREEZING and baummi still held him and took him out to see them.

The little golfer...we totally forgot he was a lefty so he didnt put so well because those were right handed clubs.

He came and suprised me at work!!! He was so excited to see me it was adorable.

Well thats all folks!!! I will be in Utah March 13th-23rd to watch this little guy and his sister while my sister and her hubby get to go on a cruise all alone. Lucky Aunt Sparkly!!!!!

Letter from Noah

So today was the first day i got a letter from Noah and i got 2 letters. He is the best!!! I miss him SO incredibly much but good news he is coming home in 2 weeks. He is getting medically discharged for a few reasons. Anyhoo, i wanted to share a poem he wrote in one of the letters..

I MISS

I miss how you tell me you love me before bed

I miss how you scratch my head

I miss how you drive your car, chair up straight

I miss how you are always late

I miss watching you do your hair

I miss the feeling of knowing you care

I miss hearing you laugh and giggle

I miss kissing your neck and having you wiggle

I miss when you squeeze me tight

I miss when you argue cause you want to be right

I miss listening to you while you talk on the phone loud

I miss your kiss that puts me on a cloud

I miss taking 1,000 pictures everyday with you

I miss just watching the things you do

I miss watching you sleep while rubbing your head

I miss just simply laying with you in bed

I miss feeling you skin on skin

I miss watching you put in that last bobby pin

I miss hearing you say "Bomb"

I miss how your voice makes me calm

I miss saying "Hey wife.."

But most of all I am glad that I get to be with you the rest of my life!!!

All he does is eat, takes naps and writes letters.Poor guy i just want him back now!!!

That is just one of like 5poems he wrote me. He is such an amazing person and I am so sad he is miserable just waiting there to come home. He met with the Dr. today and it was finalized that he will be coming home. He has to wait for all the dang paperwork to grow through. This has been THE BEST decision for him because now we will be together and not have to be apart for 6 months or longer, we will be close to both parents, no deployments, we can stay in san diego, he will start his masters program sometime in March, I am starting my dental school in July(that i didnt start because i didnt know where we were moving), our wedding is November 7th and he will FOR SURE be able to make it, the list goes on but I am SOOOOO relieved. I have been MISERABLE the last 2 weeks...part of my heart has been gone. The worst feeling in the world. I want to continue to thank our family, my best friend Cammi and Brandace(whos husband is deployed for 7 months and is having a rough time) for the LOVE and SUPPORT you all have given us...especially all of you that have been checkin up on me;i really appreciate it. Just 2 weeks and its back to happiness!!!!

THE GYM!!!!!

(Yes i am still in love with Noah)

But i have to say besides my family/Brandace/and Cammi...i would not be as strong and getting by each day without this therapy while Noah has been gone. I have been taking a spinning class at 6am a few days a week and the other day i literally cried for about 45min of the class( it was dark in the room and it just mixed in with my sweat). I love it I love it I love it!!! It is by far the best way to get your mind off things and if you do have stuff on your mind it will push you even harder. Everybody should do it!!!!

Super Bowl

We watched the super bowl up in Orange County at one of Noahs family friends house. It was a fun Sunday afternoon and a good way to spend Noahs last day with his Family for awhile.

Thank you so much Mom and Dad especially for all your hard work. Russ and D for coming down from Vegas and all our friends and family that made it. It was a great turnout and i know Noah really enjoyed every minute. He really appreciates all the support that everyone has given him and us. Noah is having a ruff time right now so please everyone keep him in your prayers. I know it will get better because its only the first week...he is really homesick and regrets his decision. I got to talk to him on the phone yesterday and today for about 4min and it was very emotional but im staying strong for him!!!!

HE IS GONE

Well the day has come and gone....im exhausted; heart broken; excited for him; sad; trying to be strong. Thinking how am i going to get through this?!?! 2:30 today a army guy (not sure his ranking) came and picked him up from my parents house and took him to the hotel he has to stay tonight...

If you look at the bottom left..there is Jackson the doggy He sat there and watched Noah drive off. When my mom and i were walking to the door Jackson just sat there and waited for him to come back. He did his little cry..... He LOVES noah. It was so sad:(

Later this evening around 6...It was really cool because my parents and i got to go see him at the hotel when he was done with all his check in meetings..we ate at chilis that was right next to his hotel. But it was hard because it was ANOTHER goodbye. I am so glad i got to see him one last time though!!!!(I may get to see him one more time tomorrow if they cant get him a flight....cross your fingers)

Anyhoo.. it is official he has started his army pay as of today...now the countdown has started until i get to see him when he graduates. Im too tired to figure it out tonight, but it will be done soon.

off to bed because i have to be up at 3:45am-i get to work the Buick invitational the next 5 days

I have so many picture and fun stuff that i want to blog..my birthday, noahs going away gig, superbowl-but Noah leaves tomorrow and im trying to spend as much time off the computer and with him. He is so ready to start his new adventure! Im not because i am going to miss him SOOO much. BUT I have to say I am excited for this time to FINALLY come because the anticipation is KILLING me. He has the go getter attitude and he cant wait. Im thinking the sooner he leaves the sooner the six months gets over with..right?!?! So tomorrow is the big day...YIKES!!! I do have something to look forward too though. My sister is coming this next weekend to keep my company because both my parents are leaving and noah...so that leaves me all by my lonesome in this big house. I am so excited to have a girls weekend...thank you again sister-i cant wait!!!! After tomorrow there will be alot more posts do to Boredom so get ready:) Wish us luck!!!
